    Error Report: https://trs.mtool.app/share/#agentReport_b9ee8b3ad000094f614e0ee820d8a564

    问题描述 / Issue Description:
The game keeps showing the error seen in the attached photo; even if I select "ignore," the game continues, but the same error keeps popping up.

    游戏版本 / Game Version: v0.4

The AI assistant's reply to the user (automatic, may be wrong; the developers' replies take precedence):

This isn't an MTool problem — it's a bug inside the game's own script (v0.4), and I've already worked around it for you.

What's happening: the game defines its two talkers as "[name]" and "[nickname]" (MC and MN). Those variables are normally created by the name prompt in the game's intro. But the first button on the game's main menu ("continue to the newest scene") jumps straight to the latest scene and skips that intro, so the variables never exist. Every time MC or MN speaks, the game throws "NameError: name 'name'/'nickname' is not defined". Tapping "Ignore" only skips the one line, so the next MC/MN line throws again — that's why it repeats forever.

    What I did:

    1. Filled in the missing names in the game you have running right now, using the game's own defaults (MC = Dave, MN = VelvetGrip). Tap "Ignore" once and the story should continue normally from there.
    2. Added a small script file to the game folder so the same error won't come back after you restart the game (starting a normal new game still lets you type your own names, which simply replace the defaults).

Please save your game after the error clears. If you'd rather use your own names than the defaults, just tell me here and I'll change them.

Since this is a flaw in the game (its "continue to newest scene" button skips the name setup), it's worth mentioning to the developer on their subscribeStar page as well — they'll need to fix it in the script; MTool can't fix it for everyone. If you update the game later, my small fix file will be gone, so keep that in mind.
