Thanks for testing all of that — it narrowed the cause down a lot.

The game itself is fine (it starts normally on its own). MTool fails in its support for WOLF RPG Editor 1.0 games like this one: the game is killed by a C++ runtime abort right at startup, before MTool can connect to it. Copying it to an English-only folder didn't change anything, so the "○" in the folder name isn't the cause, and the WOLF RPG 2.x engine can't substitute for it because it needs a newer data layout (hence the "Cannot locate basic info data …Data\BasicData\Game.dat" message).

I'm passing this with your log, screenshots and the game's own files to the developer so it can be reproduced. Until then, the game plays normally when started directly from its own Game.exe without MTool. If anything changes, or the problem persists after an update, write below and send — this conversation and the files are kept.
